PRINCE GEORGE— The Prince George humane society has partnered with Northern FanCon. Northern FanCon has come up with a fun event to raise money for the charity.

“We are screening Batman, the 1989 version with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson and it’s going to be introduced by the executive producer of the film, Michael Uslan.” Northern FanCon Event Director Norm Coyne says. “We’re going to do ‘pay what you can’ and all the proceeds that are raised are going to be donated to the PG Humane Society.”

The Prince George Humane Society has multiple fundraising efforts throughout the year and says it is always thankful for the support that comes from the community. It provides a safe space for abused, neglected and abandoned animals in northern B.C.

Up to 2,000 people can attend the Batman screening. It takes place Friday, May 3 at 9 p.m. at the CN Centre.
