PRINCE GEORGE – The First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) will hold a second dose Moderna vaccine clinic in Prince George this week to ensure Indigenous people living away from home have access to life-saving immunization in a culturally safe and welcoming environment.

All are invited to attend the clinic at the House of Ancestors, located at 355 Vancouver
Street, on July 21 and July 22 from 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

“Our own First Nations doctors are urging everyone to get a second dose vaccine as soon as possible because of the strong protection it offers against the COVID-19 virus and the variants that are responsible for a new wave of cases across the world. The sooner we all have our two shots, the safer we will all be,” said Julie Morrison, FNHA Acting Vice-President for Regional Operations. “We owe it to ourselves, our families, and our communities to make the right choice. Your vaccine is waiting for you.”

There will be a blessing ceremony at 9 a.m. each day.
