A woman has been sent to hospital following a single vehicle rollover northeast of 100 Mile House.

The crash occurred Monday morning shortly before 11:00am.  Mounties believe the woman’s SUV left the Canim Hendrix Lake Road, rolled into the ditch and then a field.  The incident occurred near the intersection with Buffalo Creek Road.

After being pulled from the vehicle, she was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries.  The passenger in the SUV was also taken to hospital, but with less serious injuries.  Mounties say the initial investigation has found both people were wearing seatbelts.

An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist and members of the Cariboo Chilcotin Regional Traffic Services are investigating the crash to determine what exactly led to the crash.
