Highways Hit By Major Snowfall

Feb 2, 2018 | 6:24 AM

Snow is falling across most of northern BC today as a major Pacific storm arrives in the interior of BC.

Environment Canada has issued highway snowfall alerts from Terrace through the Pine Pass, to the Alberta border.

The northwest region can expect up to 30 centimetres of snow over the day while the western half of the north can expect up to 25 centimetres.

It warns highway drivers could run into low visibility situations and should slow down.
