Firefighters Raise $70,000 For UHNBC’s ‘littlest patients’

PRINCE GEORGE – Prince George firefighters presented a cheque of $70,000 to Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation Saturday night. All the proceeds from the Harley Davidson raffle will go towards healthcare equipment for the University Hospital of Northern BC. 

A “crash cart this year is what was being funded, and it’s an amazing piece of equipment that goes to our littlest patients and is gonna be held in the Maternity floor,” says Judy Neiser from the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation. 

The funds were raised through a raffle, with the top prize being a 2018 Harley Davidson Heritage Classic. 

This is the 21st Harley Raffle, and over those years more than $900,000 has been raised.
