Prince George Airport Authority fires President & CEO, then sues for taking confidential material
PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Airport Authority (PGAA) has filed a lawsuit against its former president and CEO, Geoff Ritchie, alleging he removed confidential company documents and refused to return a company-issued cellphone after being terminated earlier this month.
According to court documents filed in B.C. Supreme Court, Ritchie was dismissed for cause on October 2, 2026, after the airport authority says an internal investigation substantiated allegations of misconduct. He had served as the organization’s president and CEO since July 1, 2025.
In addition to seeking the return of company property, the PGAA has applied for a court order preventing Ritchie from deleting, copying, disclosing, or otherwise using any confidential airport authority information while the case proceeds through the courts.
