Spruce Kings Set To Take On Eagles In Round 2

Round 2 for the Spruce Kings gets underway tonight as they host the Surrey Eagles for game 1 at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena. The Kings and Eagles were pretty evenly matched during the regular season, with Prince George going 3-4-and-1 against Surrey in their 8 meetings. One of the things that will make this series interesting is how well the teams do at home versus on the road. The Eagles play on an Olympic-sized rink in Surrey, while the Spruce Kings play on a pretty small rink at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena. In the regular season, the Kings had three wins and an overtime loss at home, but the Eagles won all four of the games in Surrey.
