Judoka Surprises Herself With Silver in London

Two local judokas took off to London recently and now have returned with a little bit of hardware. Tami Goto and Sydney Edgson were selected to fight in a tournament in London with Team BC. Both won their first match, and then Edgson went on to win her next two, before losing in the finals. She was also selected to represent Western Canada in her weight class for team matches, where they would tie for third place. The trip also included an intensive training camp and 7 fights for Edgson when all was said and done.
