Paralympian Jeff Adams To Speak In Prince George

Apr 18, 2018 | 5:43 AM

PRINCE GEORGE – Motivational speaker Jeff Adams will be in the city Thursday.  The Paralympian has successfully transitioned from being a gold medalist in the Paralympics to being a successful business person.

Adams is a five-time Paralympian and a six-time World Champion in wheelchair sports.  He’s competed in six Summer Paralympics, from 1988 to 2008, winning three gold, four silver, and six bronze medals.

Adams began using a wheelchair at nine when radiation therapy used to beat cancer, permanently damaged his spinal cord. He’s excelled by combining his understanding of life’s challenges with his experience as a world-class athlete.  In his speech, he synthesises his experience in sport, government, and business into messages that show how the path to success is often the same, regardless of the goal that is being pursued.

Adams will be speaking tomorrow night at 7 at the Civic Centre.  Tickets are available to the public online.  Click here to link to the tickets.
