Summit Held to Improve Provincial Tourism

A tourism summit involving Northern BC tourism operators has wrapped up. Tourism in BC is a $57 billion dollar industry, a $1 billion-dollar industry in Northern BC alone. The aim of the summit is to look at ways to attract destination travelers who want to see some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. It looked at how to take advantage of technology to get the tourists coming, sport tourism, as well as First Nations tourism. It’s an ever-evolving industry.
