IMSS Receives Funding For Programs

PRINCE GEORGE — The Immigrant and Multicultural Society has received some funding today. Last May, local MLA Shirley Bond and the Ramada Plaza co-sponsored a breakfast that celebrated women.

And, today, the Society has received a cheque for $1200 to help with a pair of programs the Society offers.

The first is the IMSS Child-minding program and the second is the Sewing Program for Women, which helps with skills development for newcomers to the community.

Last year, the theme was celebrating the Syrian refugees.
