Highway 97 South Reopened

PRINCE GEORGE — Highway 97 south of Prince George remains closed following a fatal two-vehicle crash around 7 am this morning. 

The crash involved two males and one female, with one fatality close to the intersection of Buckhorn and Damms Road. Police on scene say, two people were sent to the hospital. 

An alternate route has now been opened for motorists. 

The highway is expected to be shut down for several more hours as traffic analysts make their way to the scene.
