Paving Season Is About To Begin

PRINCE GEORGE- Next week, weather permitting, city crews get to work on this year’s road and sidewalk rehabilitation projects. Cowart Road and two sections of Foothills Boulevard are among this year’s largest projects.

The year’s first road rehabilitation projects are as follows:

    Highway 97 frontage road between Martin Road and Sabyam Road
    Glenview Drive between Eden Drive and the north end of Glenview
    Eden Drive between Taft Drive and Dawson Road
    Toombs Drive (complete road)

Work on all of these projects is expected to wrap up by May 16th .The budget for road rehabilitation projects this year is roughly $5.3 million, while the budget for sidewalk rehabilitation is about $1.2 million.
