Driver Sought In Hit-And-Run Of A Bicyclist On University Way

PRINCE GEORGE – A cyclist was sent to the hospital after an alleged hit-and-run yesterday morning. It happened around 10 am Saturday on University Way near UNBC. The driver has not been found, and Prince George RCMP is now asking for the public’s help. The suspect may have been driving a black 2016 to 2018 GMC Sierra 1/2 tonne pickup truck.
“If you were involved in this collision, we ask that you do the right thing and come forward and speak with our investigators,” says Staff Sergeant Steve McLeod.
Prince George Municipal Traffic Section continues their investigation with the assistance of the North District’s Integrated Collision Analyst/Reconstructionist Service. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP.
