Dump Truck Overturns Trailer Blocks Traffic

PRINCE GEORGE – The driver of a dump truck overturns a trailer loaded with an excavator near the corner of 1st and Carney Street, blocking traffic in both directions this morning. Witness said the driver of the dump truck was pulling a trailer and made a turn onto 1st Avenue from Carney Street and overturned the trailer that was loaded with an excavator.  The excavator tipped onto the westbound lane of 1st avenue. The west end of first avenue was closed for just over an hour as crews cleaned up the accident scene. No word yet if anyone was injured.
