Man In Hospital Following Attempted Murder

PRINCE GEORGE – A man is expected to survive after suffering from stab wounds early Sunday morning.

Local Mounties were called to a home on McIntyre Crescent after receiving the report of a stabbing.

Police arrested 38-year-old Sindy Pelletier and she will appear in court Tuesday. She faces six charges including attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and uttering threats.

Investigators believe alcohol was a factor. They add that the victim and accused know each other.
