One Person Killed in Highway 16 Crash

PRINCE GEORGE — One person is dead following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 16 Sunday night.

Cpl. Mike Halskov with E-Division Traffic Services says it happened at around 8:45 p.m. between Geddes Rd and Stewart Rd – which is about six kilometres west of Tabor Mountain.

He says a Dodge truck was attempting to turn left off a side road when it was T-boned by another vehicle driving along the highway.

The crash closed the highway in both directions for several hours.
