PG RCMP confirm Friday shooting

PRINCE GEORGE — Mounties have confirmed a shooting that took place on Friday (Oct.5) near the 1300 block of Strathcona Avenue in Prince George.

Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass says it happened just before 6 a.m. noting several officers attended the area shortly afterwards to conduct patrols and inquiries.

“Officers located a residence that appeared to have damage consistent with damage incurred by gunshots. Several persons were inside the residence at the time of the incident however, no injuries were reported.”

He says the episode appears to have been targeted. The investigation is ongoing and Douglass asks anyone with any information about this case to call police.
