2019 Firefighters Calendar About to be Revealed

PRINCE GEORGE – They put out fires and are first responders on the scene of crashes and medical incidents through the city. Now 12 members of the Prince George Fire Department are revealing some of the strength they need to do their job, all in the name of charity.
The latest version of the 2019 PG Firefighters calendar will be revealed this Friday night, in conjunction with an event at the Twisted Cork Banquet Hall.
Steve Neale took his uniform off and with 11 other local firefighters posed to help raise money for the burn fund. It took some extra time at the gym and a cleaner diet to help him prepare for the cover shoot. He says “it was a lot of work for everyone involved.”
Calendars are twenty dollars apiece, and the funds raised go to a commitment from firefighters in Northern BC to fund a room at the BC Burn fund Building in Vancouver, providing a home away from home for families of burn survivors. Money raised will also go to help a new burn ward at UNHBC.
