Hart Townhouse Fire Causes $50K in Damages

PRINCE GEORGE — A townhouse fire on the Hart this morning sent the lone occupant to hospital for smoke inhalation.

Prince George Fire Rescue says the fire broke out in the 6400 block of Dawson Road at around 2:45 a.m. this morning.

Crews were able to knock the fire down quickly with damage estimated at $50,0000. No other units were damaged.

The fire started in the kitchen area and was due to cooking.
