Final Push For Hospice Dream Home Tickets

PRINCE GEORGE – With just hours to go until the draw for the Hospice Dream Home,  the push is on to sell the final one thousand tickets.  Funds raised from the annual lottery are much needed to keep the Rotary Hospice House running.

Executive Director Donna Flood says “that’s the actual money that we make, that’s the money that I count on to do the work that I need to do at Rotary Hospice House.”

Lynda Fernyhough understands that need first hand.  After a lengthy illness her sister is currently a patient at the 10 room Rotary Hospice House. Fernyhough and her family are just one of hundreds who are touched every year by the palliative care home,  which isn’t able to run its services and programs without fundraising and community donations.

Tickets are still available at the hospice society or the Dream home itself located in the Brink Subdivision adjacent to Edgewood.  In all with custom finishing its valued at 588 thousand dollars,  with one lucky winner drawn Friday at 8 pm.
