YMCA To Raise Money At Boogie With The Stars

PRINCE GEORGE – For this year’s Boogie with the Stars, the YMCA of Northern BC is taking part in the event. The YMCA plans to raise $10,000 for their YMCA Strong Kids Campaign. 

“We are so grateful to be a part of this event and for the support, we have already received,” said Manager of Philanthropy, Stephanie Deol. “We are especially thankful for Tab’s sponsorship and ongoing support of the services we offer to kids in our community. Participating in Boogie with the Stars is the perfect opportunity to showcase the amazing charitable work that we do at the Y.”

All donations to the YMCA Strong Kids Team will go to the campaign, which allows 1 in 5 children and families to receive financial assistance to participate in camps and programs. 

The star dancer for the YMCA Strong Kids Team is Shannon Johnson, Prince George Family Y Centre Manager.
