UPDATE: Lights Back On At UNBC

PRINCE GEORGE — Update: As of 4:15 p.m., power has been restored and classes scheduled for this evening are taking place as usual.

8:50 a.m.: Power at UNBC’s Prince George campus has been out since early Thursday morning.

Crews are on site to address the issue, however, classes are cancelled until 5 p.m. at the earliest, and there’s no word whether or not classes will resume Friday.

Contrary to the BC Hydro website, executives from the company say that power should be restored by 5 p.m. Thursday night.
