Canada Post Workers Still Waiting

PRINCE GEORGE – Canada Post workers are still waiting to hear the fate of their contract. Despite the rush to pass back-to-work legislation, Labour Minister Patty Hajdu is still encouraging Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers to remain at the bargaining table. The fast-tracking of the bill is to be put to a vote later today, with debate and a final vote expected in the wee hours of tomorrow morning. In addition, the Senate is prepared to sit tomorrow and, if necessary, Sunday, to deal with the bill.
