PRINCE GEORGE – During a fire in a mobile home, the chances of injury or fatalities is greater than a fixed home. According to Fire Officials, the compartment size of a manufactured home is smaller so the timeline for getting out of the house in event of a fire is shortened. Therefore a well-developed home fire escape plan should be practiced. It’s also recommended to have smoke alarms in every room and a secondary escape route.
