Snowfall Warning Issued For Prince George
PRINCE GEORGE — Keep those shovels and snowblowers handy because Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Prince George.
The national forecaster says 15 to 25 centimetres of the white stuff is expected and will start falling Friday morning before easing on Saturday.
In addition to the heavy snow, a low-pressure system is expected to produce strong winds beginning Friday afternoon and continuing through Saturday.
These winds combined with falling snow may locally reduce visibility further in blowing snow.
