PRINCE GEORGE — The Liquor Distribution Branch has submitted a rezoning application for a retail store on Southridge Avenue.
It’s promising a bright and welcoming storefront with frosted glass windows to keep cannabis out of the sight of minors.
The city has recommended the application be approved. Prince George would join Kamloops as the only cities to have government-run stores.
The application will be up for first and second reading at Monday’s city council meeting.
