Male injured during a home invasion in the pineview area

PRINCE GEORGE – Prince George RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion in the Pineview area around 5:30 pm yesterday. Police say Initial an unknown male entered the residence, assaulted the lone adult male occupant, and then fled the scene. According to RCMP, several officers responeded including a police dog service team. Police say the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was knocked out during the incident. RCMP believe that a time delay occurred before they were called. Mounties say the motive for this incident is not yet known, it is possible that the suspect broke into the residence and was startled by the victim.

The suspect is described as:

·        – 183 cm (6’0″)
