Botanical Garden Society goes public

PRINCE GEORGE – The David Douglas Botanical Garden Society has officially unveiled its plans for 11 hectares of land at UNBC.

The Society held an open house last night to reveal these plans for the land across from the Northern Sport Centre.

With the open house out of the way, the hard work of raising, first, $2.7 million toward the $5.4 million project and meeting with stakeholders.

Shelley Rennick says those stakeholders would include researchers at UNBC and First Nations.
