Animal lovers get cozy at SPCA

PRINCE GEORGE – Prince George residents were locked into helping animals in need at the SPCA. The SPCA’s Lock-in for Love event had animal lovers getting pretty cozy with furry friends to help animals in need.

his year is the first year the Prince George SPCA has done the Lock-in for love event. The event provides a great opportunity to select people to spend time with an animal while raising money for a good cause.

The event saw participants spend the day in a kennel with an animal until they were able to raise enough funds to get them out.

All proceeds from the event went towards the North Cariboo SPCA, who took in nearly 1200 animals in 2018.
