Maximizing RV Fuel Mileage

PRINCE GEORGE – For many, the RV season has begun. With the price of fuel hovering around a dollar thirty-five a litre, it has many road trippers looking for ways to save a few bucks at the pump.

RVer’s are known to be on the road for long stretches of time and guzzle down a lot of fuel whether they’re diesel or not. Before the rubber hits the road it’s recommended checking your tire pressure. Going pedal to the metal with sudden accelerations and stops are also know to drain your tank.

According to NR Motors sale manager, Sid McKnight finding ways to cut down on weight and filling up with drinking water near your destination can save fuel. Experts say fuel prices are not expected to stay around the current prices throughout the summer.
