Thousands expected for city-wide Spring Clean-Up event

PRINCE GEORGE — It’s a sure sign of spring in Prince George as the city hosts its annual city-wide Spring Clean-Up event today (April 28).

Each year, thousands of residents participate in the city-wide event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

To aid in the effort, the city has set up 10 temporary, free garbage and litter bins.

No large household items or hazardous materials will be accepted.

Last year, nearly 4000 people volunteered their time.
