Some outdoor sport groups may be delayed by weather

PRINCE GEORGE – The cool wet weather may be preventing some sports teams stepping onto city maintained sports fields.

According to the Prince George Nechako Mixed SloPitch League they received a letter from the city asking the league to stay off the ball fields until May 6.

The league was scheduled to use the field this coming weekend.  No final word from the city if other user groups are affected.

This morning, city crews were seen working on the Rotary soccer fields.
