Spring Clean-Up a reminder of illegal dumping issues in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — REAPS held its annual Spring Clean-Up over the weekend.

About 3,000 volunteers helped pick up trash throughout parts of Prince George, but it also speaks to the larger issue of illegal dumping in the city.

To help combat this, the Regional District put forward an Illegal Dumping Prevention Strategy in December based on education, services, and enforcement and is continuing to work on that program.
