Prince George Alzheimer’s Walk celebrates and remembers people with dementia

PRINCE GEORGE— The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s was underway today (May 5).

It’s a way people of Prince George can celebrate and remember people in their lives who have been affected by dementia.

The walk raised funds and awareness to create change in the Alzeihmers community, with the help of organizations like the Alzheimer’s Society of BC.

Each year, a member of the local community who has been affected by dementia or who has valuably contributed to the lives of people living with the disease in Prince George is honored.
