Open House Planned

Open house scheduled for Community Wildfire Protection & Emergency Strategic Plan

PRINCE GEORGE — The City of Prince George is hosting a public meeting next week to talk wildfire preparedness, share the Community Wildfire Protection Plan, and answer questions.

The event will also include a summary of the City’s Emergency Strategic Plan, a five-year strategy to improve the City’s readiness for all emergencies.

The open house will be held on the second floor of the Conference and Civic Centre Wednesday, May 15, from 11 a.m. until 8:00 p.m..

There will be presentations at noon and 6:00 p.m.. Officials from the BC Wildfire Service and the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George will also be there.
