RibFest Provides Great Opportunity for Local Talent

PRINCE GEORGE – While RibFest is being billed as a fundraiser for the local Rotary clubs, it is being praised for showcasing all local talent in its music.

Local musician Chris Goodwin will be part of more than one show during the three-day event and says there’s never been such a venue.

“It was just this huge opportunity to book local talent.”

The music scene in Prince George is evolving, thanks to venues like Nancy O’s, the Twisted Cork, the Black Clover and even the Legion, which have opened their doors to live music. But with a three-day venue with, possibly, thousands of people, is huge.
