One person dies in Highway 97 crash

PRINCE GEORGE — One person is dead following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 97 North last night (May 26).

North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says the accident occurred on the highway just before 7 p.m. between Heart Lake and Mt. Murray in the Pine Pass.

The crash closed the highway for several hours while first responders attended the scene.

No other information is available at this time.
