Wildfire of note: 1,018 hectare Black Angus Creek fire

NORTHERN BC–The 1,018 kilometre fire is burning 40 kilometres south of Lower Post.
According to the BC Wildfire Service website the smoke from the lighting caused fire is highly visible to surrounding communities.
As of yesterday afternoon the fire had not grown and an incident management team in Smithers has been deployed to Dease Lake to establish a fire response plan.
