PG Fire Rescue urges proper disposal of cigarettes after small weekend fire

Over the weekend fire crews put out a small fire, they say could have been a lot bigger. The fire was started by a cigarette butt thrown into a planter. PG Fire Rescue is urging smokers to properly dispose of cigarette butts to avoid causing any potential fires.

She was in The Revenant and How it ends, Indigenous actress Grace Dove dropped by the Civic Centre today. She gave a keynote speech at the Beyond Hope 2019 Library Conference, a conference aimed at fine tuning the way educators and librarians can support youth.

Driver clocked at 131 km/h on Foothills Blvd

An 18 year old PG resident was handed a $483 fine for driving 131km/h in a 60 zone. In the month of May RCMP focused on speeding and aggressive driving, with 251 speeding violations.
