Murder convictions thrown out against three Prince George-area men

A new trial is being ordered for the three men accused of killing 22-year-old Jordan Reno in 2012. The decision to throw out the convictions comes after the BC Court of Appeal found the jury was given confusing and incorrect instructions.

Public input sought on climate action priorities

The City of Prince George is seeking the public’s input on climate action. Public input sessions will be held throughout June and July, those unable to make a session can share their ideas via an online survey.

PG RCMP note an increase in property crime throughout the city

RCMP say that some neighbourhoods around the city have seen an increase in theft which they say is attributed to prolific offenders. They want to remind the public to stay vigilant and report suspicious behaviour when they see it.

Save-On-Foods announces plans to hit a zero food waste target

The goal to becoming a zero-food-waste company started in April, here in Prince George with the grocery store donating unsold food to local food banks and organizations. The Salvation Army says they are seeking volunteers to help with the influx of food coming in.
