Public input sought on climate action priorities

PRINCE GEORGE — The City of Prince George is seeking the public’s input on climate action.

The city is launching a public engagement campaign to determine priorities for actions that the city would undertake to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Public input starts next Wednesday at the Bob Harkins Branch of the Prince George Public Library from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Other sessions are are also scheduled for June 22 at the Prince George Farmers Market from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on July 11 at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park Pavilion from noon to 8 p.m.

Those unable to attend these sessions can also share their views via an online survey which will be available from June 12 until July 31.
