Law Enforcement Torch Run raised $5,100 in PG
PRINCE GEORGE–Over 130 runners and walkers came out to the Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics BC which raised a record amount this year.
Including the car wash event which was hosted at Canadian Tire earlier this year the total money raised $5,100.
The 3.5 km run which kicked off at the Prince George Detachment of the RCMP, was made up of peace officers, and staff and family of various public safety agencies. Around 40 Special Olympic athletes along with coaches, friends and family also participated.
