PRINCE GEORGE— Dillon Adey’s friends and family took a tragic loss and turned it into something special.

Dillon was killed in a motorcycle accident ten years ago. The idea to start the tournament happened on a whim as Dillon’s friends were trying to deal with their tragic loss. Dillon loved golf and giving back to the community, so this tournament combines these things.

The Dillon Adey Memorial Golf Tournament has raised over $193,000 since its inception, with the money going towards equipment and scholarships to Dillon’s college, CNC.

“It’s pretty overwhelming that so many people care about what we’re doing.” -Cindy Adey, Dillon’s Mother
