Prince George’s Connor Feeney taken by Calgary Hitmen in 2024 WHL Draft

PRINCE GEORGE — Connor Feeney was the only player from Prince George to hear his name called in the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft. The Calgary Hitmen drafted him 91st overall in the 5th round.

Feeney played this last season with the Cariboo Cougars U15AAA where he was named team captain. The defenceman recorded 17 points in 20 games this past year while also tallying a point-per-game in the playoffs.

The 15-Year-old says it’s an honour to be drafted by the Hitmen organisation and thanks his family, coaches, and teammates for the support they’ve shown him so far in his hockey career.
