CN renews funding for Carbon Action Project

PRINCE GEORGE — CN has stepped up to the plate to provide funding to ensure the survival of a program dedicated to helping businesses lower their carbon footprint.
CN will provide close to $60,000 to continue the Climate Action Project – a partnership between UNBC and the Prince George Chamber of Commerce.
Since 2015, CN has invested over $220,000 which the Chamber of Commerce says is money well spent considering its assisted 46 local companies so far.
UNBC’s Vice president Academic and Provost Dr. Dan Ryan says partnerships such as these are vital to creating a cleaner and greener community and notes this partnership will have a lasting positive impact.
