PG Blind Curling Team reflect on impressive season
PRINCE GEORGE— The 2025 season has come to an end for the Prince George Blind Curling Team, and it was no doubt a memorable one. They won their first ever National Visually Impaired title as well as hosting their first Western Blind Curling Championship, and winning that as well.
“It’s huge for the city and also for hopefully sending out the signals to people who are visually impaired. Don’t stay at home, get out. Curling is probably one of the best sports in relation to visual difficulties because there’s nothing’s moving fast and you meet so many wonderful people,” said the teams skip, Eric Rosen.
The community built through the sport, goes deeper than the competition and means so much for those with visual impairments.
