Prince George bodybuilder preparing for next competition

PRINCE GEORGE— Alicia Simpson has been bodybuilding for about four years. She has seen the sport grow quite a bit in a short period of time, especially for women.

There’s often a misconception women will get too bulky if they work out a lot, but most female bodybuilders will tell you there is beauty in their strength.

Simpson has experienced a boost in confidence after every show she has done and finds it extremely rewarding to see her hard work pay off.

Her next competition is in Coquitlam in two weeks.
