PRINCE GEORGE— The City of Prince George worked closely with School District No. 57 to install muster point signs. The new signs are being put up around Prince George, as part of the City’s the City’s Emergency Strategic Plan.

“Today we unveiled our new signage here at Van Bien Elementary School and the reason for that was to indicate to the public that there’s going to be 18 locations throughout the community which will represent a muster station,” Mayor Lyn Hall says.

An evacuation plan was also released earlier this year, based off of the garbage collection map, since it’s something residents are familiar with.
