A busy week for local Mounties but nothing out of the ordinary

PRINCE GEORGE — It’s been a busy week or so for local Mounties who have executed a series of search warrants in relation to drug activity in the city.

One of the drug busts occurred last Friday at a home on the 3800 block of 15th Avenue where the suspect tried to make a dramatic escape by leaping from the third floor of an apartment building before being captured.

A week earlier police executed three warrants at three separate residences. That led to the arrest of three adults.

Despite the amount of illegal activity though, police say it’s nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to fighting crime in the drug world.
